Mercedes Corby, the sister of convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby, has won a defamation case against the Seven Network following a series of reports broadcast in February last year.

After almost 5 weeks in court and 6 hours of deliberation a jury found that Channel Seven Sydney Ltd, Seven Network Ltd, Australian News Channel Pty Ltd, Today Tonight host Anna Coren and reporter Bryan Seymour, and former best friend, Jodie Power, were all guilty of defaming Ms Corby.

A decision on damages is yet to be decided.
