IN BRIEF | After being discovered abandoned with dust on top, Channel Nine has decided to re-run the infamous Australia's Naughtiest Home Videos. This was originally broadcast in 1992 when it was pulled off by the late Kerry Packer.

John McAvoy, head of Factual Television from the commercial network, discovered the tape, and found it to be worthy of broadcasting. Aimed to be one-off, the show will be aptly described as "The show Kerry Packer didn't want you to see" Diary.

On September 2, 1992, the spinoff of Australia's Funniest Home Videos was put on air, showing bizarre sexual activities of animals and couples, and was famously pulled off half-way by Packer with the words "Get this sh*t off the air". The show was replaced by re-runs of Cheers.

The date of the special presentation is yet to be decided.

I'd love to see this show brought back to air, and have somebody like Doug Mulray or Corey Delaney host it seeing as they are one of the few media larrikins left in this country.

I think the world is taking itself too seriously now and needs a good laugh.
