  • Mark Gibson to leave Seven Perth

    In what can only be described as another blow for Seven News Perth, popular reporter and fill in presenter Mark Gibson has announced that he has resigned after seven years of reporting for the state's highest rating news bulletin.

    The West Australian says that Gibson confirmed the news yesterday and will now discuss his departure date with news director Shaun Menegola.

    Thats a huge loss for TVW. I hope he continues doing TV news wherever he goes.

    Something tells me that Seven either treat their staff like crap or what you said, they're unhappy with the product and/or environment.

    I can't imagine WIN paying well based on how cheap they are so I doubt it's about money.

    i could see him being offered more money to go to ACA Perth .... WIN really wants to succeed where the station has failed 3 other times..

    Has anyone thought he may go to TEN? Either as a Co-Host, with Narelda, A Reporter, A Fillin Presenter or Even a Weekend Presenter( So they can bring the news Back home 7 days a Week). I would Like Option 1 the Best.
