Beautiful idea. For those of us who can't be foxed getting cable (such as me:P) but still want to see a MLB game in full without having to rely on the 6pm news bulletin for a 2 minute summary, it makes a hell of a lot of sense.

Funny title though, may be too close to ABC1

    = What ya watchin'?
    = The Bluejays.
    = What channel?
    = ONE, on TEN.
    = What the.....?
    = No, ONE :)
    = <Blank stare>

This is a real kick in the balls for those who have HD TV and want to watch their fave shows.

Leave 24 hour sport to Foxtel and pubs/sports bars.

Well from mid-next year viewers will be able to see plenty of balls being kicked on TEN HD. :D

I'm assuming Ten HD is reverting back from 1 to 12? For God's sake, I hate these channel number changes.

im hoping TEN gets more bandwidth - meaning they can have TEN, TENHD & "ONEHD" (this would downconvert to ONESD)....that'd be cool..

    Ten HD uses both numbers.

yeah, but they just repeat tenHD on 1 & 12 .... so it'd just be a matter of switching on another pres suite and assigning it to channel 1 (even if it is just HD...that'd still be good.)

No, 1 and 12 are logical channels with associated PIDs which so happen to point to the same PIDs.

I'm sure TEN will do a better job with the Major League then FOXSPORTS!
