The Seven Network has apologised to viewers after a technical fault caused a major disruption to audio during the prime-time broadcast of "Mayday Head on Collision" for several minutes on Wednesday night.
Viewers in NSW and Victoria were treated to stray audio not related to the vision of the program being broadcast. The network managed to correct the problem prior to the time shifted transmission to other markets such as Queensland and Western Australia.
"It was an unfortunate technical error which was rectified as quickly as possible", a Seven Network spokeswoman said. "We apologise to any viewers that were watching at the time."
