• Beaumont takes 6PR Mornings gig

  Simon Beaumont, the current fill in presenter of 6PR's morning show has been announced as the replacement of popular presenter Bob Maumill. Beaumont began in media in 2001 as a producer at ABC Radio eventually producing Liam Barlett's morning show, when Bartlett jumped to 6PR he followed. Bartlett left shortly there after for a gig on the Nine Network's 60 Minutes.
  
  Maumill fans can take solace in the news that he will still be heard on radio, after coming to an agreement with 6PR boss Declan Kelly to fill in for his replacement when ever he goes on holidays.
