• Seven tests 1080i

  The Seven Network is conducting a week long test of broadcasting in 1080i High Definition. The trial began on Sunday in Sydney and Melbourne, with Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth continuing to broadcast using the 576p format as has been used by Seven since it commenced digital broadcasting in 2001.
  
  Upon conclusion of the trial, Seven says it will consider the results of the trial in regard to choosing a transmission format and how it will allocate its bandwidth.
