Sarah Murdoch has announced today that after 4 months of filling in for Jessica Rowe over the summer, that she'll be leaving on the 30th of March with Today newsreader Kellie Connolly taking over the co-hosting duty.
Murdoch thanked the Today team, saying it was "one of the most exhilarating experiences of my career". She leaves with glowing reviews from Nine Bosses, after raising the ratings of Today considerably.
Though the ratings improved, Seven's 'Sunrise' still dominates mornings, up on Today by 150,000.
Newsreader Kellie Connolly will now co-host with Karl Stefanovic until Jessica Rowe returns.
