• Seven increases WAN stake

  The Seven Network today notified the Australian Stock Exchange that it has increased its holding in West Australian Newspapers to just above 15%. This follows the introduction of media reforms which were proclaimed today.
  
  In October last year Seven took a 14.9% stake in the company, a holding which it later defined as a 'strategic stake'.
  
  Both West Australian Newspapers and Seven Network shares traded in positive territory today.
