• No WIN for Nine Perth

  Sunraysia Television, the operators of Channel Nine Perth, have refused to recommend an offer by WIN Television over that of rival bidder PBL Media. The WIN offer was valued at $146 million - $10 million higher than an offer already received by PBL Media.
  
  Despite the larger monetary component of the offer Sunraysia cited legal restraints as the reason it would be unable to recommend the WIN offer and despite trying to resolve these issues with WIN the issues still remained.
  
  A shareholder meeting to vote on PBL's offer is due to be convened on the 24th of April, with the company expecting the completition of sale to occur on the 27th of April.
