  Jessica Rowe has walked out the Nine Network and the Today Show after a breakdown in negotiations about her return from maternity leave. The statement released just minutes ago mentioned how Rowe wouldn't be returning to the network, and that the network wished Rowe the best for her future career.
  
  Rumours have been rife that Rowe wouldn't be returning to her position as the Today Show's co-host after she was replaced with Sarah Murdoch, then later with newsreader Kellie Connolly. Since Rowe left last year ratings have steadily improved.
  
  From the moment Rowe began her hosting position on the Today Show in January last year, she was criticized for her giggling on air, her apparent hyena like laugh, and an absence of chemistry with co-host Karl Stefanovic.
  
  A replacement is yet to be officially announced, but reports are that the Nine network are in talks with Channel Seven's Lisa Wilkinson, who presents Weekend Sunrise.
