  Weekend Sunrise co-host Lisa Wilkinson will replace Jessica Rowe as co-host of Channel Nine's Today show from May 28th. Previous co-host Jessica Rowe left the Nine network on Friday after a breakdown in negotiations about her return from maternity leave.
  
  Channel Seven's head of news and current affairs Peter Meakin wished Wilkinson all the best in her future career at Channel Nine.
  
  "We're sorry that Lisa has decided to leave. We would like to thank her for everything she's done for us. No hard feelings," Meakin said.
  
  "Seven will announce the new permanent co-host to join Andrew O'Keefe on the timeslot-dominating Weekend Sunrise in coming days."
  
  If rumours are correct, then the new co-host of Weekend Sunrise will be Kellie Connolly, who is currently filling in the co-host position on the Today Show. That is if the mornings aren't too much for Connolly; today she fainted during a cooking segment on the Today Show. She later blamed it on her early 3am starts.
  
  "Anyway, I'm fine thank you, I'm not pregnant, I'm not diabetic, it was just one of those things," she said.
