As of Monday, Seven will broadcast its "First at 4.30pm" news bulletin live on its Yahoo!7 website. Internet users will be able to tune in at 4.30pm AEST at work and at home and catch Samantha Armytage with the latest news from across the country and around the world.
The bulletin will be broadcast live, online, Monday to Friday each week. The online broadcast will also include advertisements, giving advertisers the unique opportunity to reach more viewers.
Seven's 4.30 News will be the first in Australia to broadcast live on the internet at the same time it goes to air in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Broadcasting live online will give Adelaide and Perth viewers the chance to view the bulletin as it happens.
Seven’s Director of News and Public Affairs Peter Meakin said this is one more way that viewers are kept constantly up to date.
The live broadcast online will begin at 4.30pm in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane; 4:00pm in Adelaide and Darwin; and 2:30pm in Perth.
