The new owners of Channel Nine Perth, WIN Television, are considering a sell off of the station's traditional Dianella premises and a move to new premises which would move them closer to advertising clients.
WIN Television who recently purchased the station from Sunraysia Television have been in town for the last few weeks looking over the station's premises and operations. They're has already been a number of departures with the general manager, head of sales and human resources manager all making an exit from the station. They also made the decision to sell off the station's news helicopter.
The station is purportedly looking at a move to Subiaco, already the home of numerous Perth radio stations. The current site in Dianella which is roughly five hectares is seen as unnecessary and the new owners will look to have a valuation performed on the prospect of having the land subdivided and rezoned to residential.
