IN BRIEF | Adam Boland, the executive producer of the Seven's morning line up Sunrise, Weekend Sunrise and The Morning Show wants to walk away from the network when his contract expires early next year.
It's rumoured that Boland told network chief executive David Leckie and news chief Peter Meakin that he wanted to expand his news and current affairs role at the network, but was disappointed when there was no offer for a suitable career path.
Boland is responsible for 27 hours of morning television a week, recently producing the '50 years' special on Seven last year. The Morning Show is the newest addition to his line up, proving to be a ratings winning since it started on June 17th.
