  • Ten signs retransmission agreement with FOXTEL

    In what's being called a "boon" for viewers, Network Ten CEO Grant Blackley and FOXTEL CEO Kim Williams have announced that Network Ten will be retransmitted on FOXTEL Digital from September.

    Consumers will be able to view Ten's digital signal seamlessly through the FOXTEL platform and access Ten's schedule and program details via FOXTEL's electronic program guide (EPG).

    Lovley... so Perth and Adelaide satellite subscribers have to miss out because Network Ten are too cheap to pay for a bit more extra satellite bandwidth for those feeds? :rolleyes:

    Yeah I'm a bit annoyed about that too. If they can offer it to the rest of the country, then they should offer it here.

    I don't watch Ten anyway, but if I did I'd be watching Ten HD - not whatever bodge quality crap they'll show on FOXTEL :yucky:

    Well it makes sense for them to put their biggest three markets on the satellite, the return on investment probably wouldn't be high enough given the smaller audiences in Perth and Adelaide.
