• Greg Pearce joins Nine Perth, Vinci to local ACA

  WIN Television has made its first major change to the under-performing Perth newshour with the hiring of a former Network Ten presenter and the establishment of a local edition of A Current Affair.
  
  Greg Pearce, who presented Ten Perth's news from both Perth and then Sydney before finally quitting and returning home to Western Australia, will join current news anchor Dixie Marshall in presenting the nightly news. Her current on air partner, Sonia Vinci is shifting to A Current Affair, to front a new localised version of the program.
  
  Commenting on the changes, recently appointed News Director Adrian Beattie said, “His warmth and experience will bring even more authority to an already impressive news program - and being able to use Sonia Vinci to present our local A Current Affair means that Nine’s news hour in Perth has one of the strongest team of presenters in the country.”
  
  Pearce said, "I am looking forward to teaming up with Dixie Marshall and the other talented members of Nine News.”
