I also get the impression that STW will be moving their news to another location this year. I can't see where they would move to though

As in timeslot, or physical building? What gives you that impression?

Timeslot would be nice, but I meant physical building.

The media release (above) was titled "PERTH'S NATIONAL NINE NEWS IS ON THE MOVE". That could be taken in many ways, but I have also heard (from unreliable sources mind you) that they could be moving later in the year.

Butorac then saying "This is just the start of our plans and viewers should keep watching because we will have further announcements to enhance our news commitment to the West in the coming months" makes me wonder even more.

That line is typical in a media release, but I get the impression they are considering moving. To where? I have no idea, and can't think of anywhere either

There was this article the other month about a potential move to Subiaco.

Thanks, I had forgotten about that. Even more reason to believe they're looking at moving :)

Good to see ex-Wollongong presenter Matt Tinney will continue his new role in Perth. He has plenty of potential.
