    FOXTEL hacked?
IN BRIEF | FOXTEL subscribers could be excused for thinking the pay television provider had been hacked when a rather odd message flashed up on television screens across the country this morning.

At approximately 7:40am AWDT (9:40am AEDT), a "For Your Information" message box appeared on screen that said:

"test by me the handsome \nhimari works here nfbjdshfksjfhs"

Viewers who attempted to contact FOXTEL to find out what happened ended up having their phone calls terminated as the provider's phone system continues to suffer problems after a recent system upgrade.

FOXTEL denies the message was a breach of security, claiming the message was simply a test message incorrectly issued by a staff member, and that the message was not supposed to have been broadcast.
